Pentecost and Art Pentecost is when we, the church, celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus after his Ascension. Pentecost in held on the seventh Sunday after Easter which is May 20, 2018. Join Sylvia Wuensche-Wienands as she facilitates an exciting opportunity to reflect on the meaning of Pentecost and invites us to express our creativity through various expressions of art (visual, poetry, music). All abilities of artists are welcome!
What is Christian hospitality? What does the Bible teach us about hospitality? What does Christian hospitality to our LBGTQ+ siblings look like and why is it important? This 6-week series will focus on these questions as well as the changing vocabulary and understanding of what LGBTQ+ means.

Rev. M Barclay is the first openly non-binary trans person to be commissioned as a deacon in The United Methodist Church. They are currently serving as Director at enfleshed - a new ecumenical nonprofit committed to "bringing what matters back to the gospel for justice, liberation, and delight" through spiritual resources, pastoral care, and teaching on intersections of faith and justice.
