Confirmation is intended to be a time to explore the Christian faith and make the decision for ourselves to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is also a time to have fun, explore new ideas, and make new friends. Confirmation Sunday is the first time persons publicly declare their intention to live out the vows made at their baptism. Confirmation Sunday is also a time for the congregation to celebrate the young people’s commitment to live as a faithful disciple and to renew their commitment to live as a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ as well.
Please plan to attend the parent/youth orientation meeting on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 9:00-9:45 a.m. in room 4 to receive more information about what you can expect and what we expect this year. There will also be time allotted for Q&A. If you cannot attend the orientation meeting, the information can be emailed to you. Please indicate whether or not you will attend the orientation meeting on the registration form.
Finally, mark your calendars for Confirmation Sunday on May 5, 2019 at the 10:00 a.m. worship service.
