In-person Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m.

We are excited to announce that the building will reopen for indoor worship. Online worship will continue too by livestreaming over the internet on YouTube.

To Attend In-person Worship (Up to 50 people total which includes worship leaders):

Step 1: Beginning Monday at Noon, Register Your Intent to Come to In-Person Worship the following Sunday.

Before you register, please consider your own risk of illness and your responsibility toward others. If you are planning to attend worship, you must reserve a spot for the upcoming Sunday. Registration is required. To register, go to wesleynaperville.org. Please include the names of all persons from your family who will attend with you. If you don’t use internet, call 630-355-1834 ext. 109. Leave your full name, additional names of family members who will attend with you, and your phone number. Your names will be added to the check-in list.

Step 2: Before You Arrive at the Church on Sunday Morning:

Please take your temperature. If you have a fever, have any other cold/flu/Covid symptoms, or have been exposed to covid-19 in the last 10 days, please remain at home and worship with us online.

Step 3: When you Arrive at the Church:

Parking in the Atrium lot is reserved for visitors and for people with mobility challenges.

Please put on your mask.  Masks that cover your nose and mouth are required at all times on church property.  Entry is through the Atrium doors only. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. Check in at the registration table, maintaining physical distance. Use stairs directly ahead of the atrium doors and go to the sanctuary. Elevator use is reserved for those with mobility challenges.

Step 4: Sanctuary Seating:

Seating will be staggered to maintain 6-foot distance. Please sit behind a pool noodle large enough for you and those in your household attending with you.

Step 5: Worship:

Worship will look and feel different than we remember due to health and safety precautions that have been put in place. Announcements and prayer requests should be submitted in advance to Pastor Tedd or Pastor Kathy via a phone call to the office or by email by 9:30 am. Children are always welcome in worship! Kids over the age of 2 must wear a mask. Parents, please keep your children in your pew and accompany them to the restroom. We are not offering nursery care.

Step 6: When worship is over: Please exit through the Atrium side sanctuary door. Please maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet. Continue on to your vehicle, keeping your mask on. There will be no fellowship time, coffee, or snacks.

We look forward to being together again. By following these steps, we will decrease the risk of passing covid-19 to one another.  These simple acts are ways we care for one another and our community.
